The purpose of the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy Cleanup Project is to provide an opportunity for students of the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences to actively participate in a volunteer organization that collects debris from the streets and sidewalks of neighboring communities. This will give students a chance to involve themselves within the community, take a leadership role, and collaborate with classmates/other community members. This organization will work diligently to help clean the neighborhood that surrounds the School of Pharmacy building. In the future, the organization will work to accomplish additional tasks that will advance and further beautify the neighborhood.

Mission
The mission of our student chapter at Binghamton University School of Pharmacy is to advocate for health education on safe and effective use of medications in pediatric population, along with their caregivers in our community. This chapter would allow the student pharmacists to apply their didactic knowledge into their professional lives. Our purpose is to engage more pharmacy students into understanding what the field of Pediatrics has to offer and being able to shadow a pediatric resident/ or a pharmacist would allow the pharmacy students to visualize the daily life aspects of a pediatric pharmacist. Our vision through this student chapter would be to provide the platform for the incoming students, to further educate themselves on the importance of this special population and what impact can we make on this profession. At the end of the day, we as pharmacists want to prove ourselves as a good healthcare professional and to expand our scope of practice in order to provide better patient-centered care.

TRUST's mission is to develop a group of healthcare professionals dedicated to caring for rural, underserved populations and committed to interprofessional teamwork.

Membership Benefits
The Rural and Underserved Service Track (TRUST) is a competitive, co-curricular, interprofessional track focusing on the education and care of rural and underserved patients. It is a two-year commitment, with the expectation to attend 8 conferences (4 per year) and complete 10 service activities (5 per year; 2+ per semester). Upon completion of the program, students have the ability to achieve a TRUST Microcredential and have Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Scholar opportunities.
