Speech Language Pathologist

Institute for Child Development

I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for 12 years and received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Disorders and Sciences from SUNY Plattsburgh (2010 and 2012 respectively). I worked for a traveling therapy company for 6 years, moving between major cities in Florida, Washington, Arizona, and Pennsylvania before relocating back to NY state. I have also worked part time for Early Intervention through Broome County and various contract companies. For the last 6 years I have worked at the Institute for Child Development at Binghamton University specializing in speech therapy for students with autism and significant language delays. I have a passion for Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) as well as helping students become independent and functional members of their school.  Recently I have led an initiative with the 4 county library system and the Binghamton Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (BRCASD) to create inclusive programming and storytimes for 44 libraries to help make libraries more inclusive and accepting for all persons with disabilities.
