AABS Volunteers at GigiFit Acceptance Challenge 2023

We need all the help we can get as we help volunteer at the annual GigiFit Acceptance Challenge. The purpose of this event is have a physical and social movement to show the community's acceptance of Down syndrome. This family-fun event will be kicked off a competitive 5k run/walk (with cash prizes), then our opening ceremony, the Kids Dash, and 1-mile inspirational walk followed by an afternoon of music, munchies, family-friendly activities, wrapping up with our awards ceremony and presentation.

Thus, due to the large scale of this event volunteers are needed to pass out water on the course and help direct runners, run/walk with one of our participants for the 5k, and during the family fun portion from 10-12 volunteers are needed to run a bubble station; rock painting; obstacle course; and a fine motor activity station!!!

In addition to registration through B-Engaged please also fill out our own Google form, so we can provide the coordinators of the event with an accurate head count in order for them to determine where to place all the volunteers.
