As previously alluded to, our last meeting of the year will be a presentation night!! It will be on Thursday, 12/5 in CW110 from 6-8PM, our last day of classes!
Yes, Thursday, NOT Friday!
For those presenting, here is a list of rules! (Ripped from our previous alumni August, but shh.)
1. Everyone will have 12 minutes to present.
2. If you have a particular place in the order that you do or don't want to go, DM me (August Daniel). Keep in mind that someone has to go first/last, so please only message me for scheduling conflicts/particularly strong anxiety/etc. We will also accept volunteers to go first to minimize bloodbath arguing at the meeting. Please also message if for any reason you need to drop out.
3. Your slides will be due, emailed to swc@binghamtonsa.org (might be easiest to make it as a Google Slide and share it), by Thursday at midnight. This is mostly for your benefit, so that you don't have to rush to complete them before club. Please title your presentation [First Name] - [Title/Shortened Title].
4. At this point, people who have already signed up may switch their topics, but we won't be accepting new signups (again, this is an issue with timing).
5. You may bring handouts, snacks, etc. Feel free to be extra! We're not policing how you give your presentation, but if for some reason you're unsure about something, reach out and we'll be happy to answer your questions.
P.S - Go crazy. Go stupid. Now is the time to push onto us your latest insanity in the membranity.
We hope to see you there, my friends. It will be a glorious day.
All writers are welcome!
Remember—all writing is writing! It doesn't matter if you're working on a novel, a play, poetry, a D&D campaign—if you're writing it, we want to hear about it!
