Entrepreneur Connect’s annual Pitch It Competition kicks off TODAY from 7:15–8:15 PM in the Innovation Lab! This is your chance to compete for up to $2,000 in funding to jumpstart your venture and gain access to a supportive community of entrepreneurs and mentors.

Important: To participate in the competition, you must fill out the Pitch It interest form by the deadline. This form is required to be eligible to pitch. By participating, you’ll also earn a digital completion certificate that you can display on LinkedIn!

Last week, the Ramblers showed EC the business of art—turning their music into a brand, connecting with audiences, and sharing their creativity with the world.

The event wrapped up with an energetic jam session, featuring percussion instruments such as cowbells and maracas. It was a fun, hands-on way to see how passion and professionalism can come together. Check out the video linked below for a glimpse of the show!

SXSW Pitch 2026

SXSW Pitch 2026, held during SXSW in Austin, TX (March 12–18, 2026), is one of the world’s most prestigious and respected global platforms for early-stage startups to present their ideas, products, and technologies to investors, media, and industry leaders. 
Applications are due by November 7th, 2025, with a $220 application fee that is EASILY WAIVEABLE.

For anyone interested in applying for the competition, reach out to Tiru Chimpiri, who will waive the application fee for you
 
About SXSW Pitch:

• Now in its 18th year, SXSW Pitch alumni have raised over $23.2 billion in funding
• Finalists pitch live to a panel of VCs, angel investors, corporate partners, and press
• Covers 9 innovation categories, including one specifically for Student Startups
