About Us

BU Science teaches weekly science lessons and experiments to kindergarten through fifth grade students. Members meet to gather and exchange supplies, travel via car, and teach lessons and experiments to an assigned elementary school classroom on a weekly basis. BU Science members also have the opportunity to work with fourth grade students and help them develop their own science projects to be displayed at an annual science fair, and participate in the Nutrition Project which educates fourth graders about the importance of healthy eating and exercise.
